Vol. 3 No. 1 (2025): Besari: Journal of Social and Cultural Studies
Besari: Journal of Social and Cultural Studies (ISSN 3047-2458) is a peer-reviewed open-access scholarly journal published biannually (June and December) by PC Ikatan Sarjana Nahdlatul Ulama (ISNU) Ponorogo, Indonesia, that seeks to facilitate a critical and constructive dialogue among scholars from all research disciplines, especially in social and cultural fields.
In this issue (Vol. 3 No. 1, Dec 2025), this journal publishes five scholarly articles exploring diverse historical, cultural, and socio-legal dynamics. The topics include a codicological study of historical Qur’anic manuscripts and translations in China, Raden Batoro Katong’s hybrid reconciliation model in establishing Ponorogo, the role of communist youth unions in national culture education among university students in Vietnam, a biblical hermeneutical analysis of elder care crises in Nigeria, and a socio-legal perspective on the transformation of sacrality and intimacy in digital-era virtual weddings. Authors contributing to this issue are from Vietnam, Nigeria, and Indonesia.
