Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of an interactive educational game as a learning tool to introduce the diversity of Indonesian traditional musical instruments to elementary school students. The game, developed using the Unity engine and designed with Figma and Adobe Illustrator, includes learning materials and interactive quizzes to enhance student engagement. A one-group pretest-posttest experimental design was used, involving 30 elementary school students. Data were collected through multiple-choice tests and in-game quizzes before and after gameplay. The results showed an increase in the average student score from 5.43 in the pretest to 8.63 in the posttest. Statistical analysis using a paired sample t-test resulted in a p-value of 0.000, indicating a significant improvement in students' understanding after using the game. These findings suggest that the game not only improves learning outcomes but also serves as an innovative tool to preserve and promote cultural heritage through interactive technology in education.
